Satellite TV

 

Sean has been installing different forms of satellite television in our area for over 20 years. He started out with big C-band style dishes and now we mostly do 18” dishes for DirecTV and DishNetwork. Many people don’t understand the importance of having a local professional do you install. When we install a satellite for you, you know we are going to do a good job for you. First off because that’s the way we do business. Also because here in the Northeast Kingdom we know we’ll see you again. Its not like letting someone you don’t know into your home to set up your TV. Most likely you’ll never see them again. Here at O’C Satellite we’re here for our customers.

Here again we offer more that one service for our customers in this case mostly because with mountains trees and other obstacles it can abstruct the line of sight to the satellite. This way if someone doesn’t have line of site for Dish Network they could still probably get a line of sight for DirecTV

Digital Video Recorder (DVR)/Tivo

DVR or Tivo receivers actually have hard drives on them that allow you to pause live TV and schedule your receiver to record and save programs in the future so you can go back and watch them at your convenience.

High Definition (HD)

HD is only available to customers with an HD ready TV that have an HD recevier. HD programming is only available on the few channels broadcast in HD. Even some of those channels are not “true” HD. In order to get true HD the program must be recorded on an HD camera on HD film broadcast in HD received on a HD reveiver and viewed on a HD TV. Be aware of this when choosing your next television.
